SMM is free.  SMM record your employee names for invoice IDs.  SSM records the different recycling categories you use with settlement prices.  SMM records & saves each settlement with names, addresses, vehicle IDs and recycling materials received.  The calculated amounts on the invoice are extended and totaled. The settlement ticket is saved to disk and then can be immediately printed at the number of copies required or Reprinted at a later date or time.

 While SMM works with a Standard monitor, it is very easy to add a Touch Screen Monitor allowing for an easy to understand and use the SMM POS system.   We pride ourselves in designing systems that require a minimum of employee training.  While one can still use a mouse and/or keyboard with SMM the use of a touch screen streamlines the operation.

 SMM features a  Signature Capture option.  Now you can easily record and save the signature of the seller.  Shown is a Topaz Signature 1x5 SignaturePad. 

 SMM features a Biometric Fingerprint Scanning capability option.  You will be able to store and retrieve fingerprint images as required by many law enforcement agencies.  Shown if a   Products – SecuGen  finger Print scanner.

 SMM features a Seller Photo Capture capability option.  You are able to take a picture of the seller and save it with the invoice using a simple web cam. Shown is the inexpensive Microsoft LiveCam VX-5000  plugged into a PC it provides a live feed where you can capture and store a picture of the person in front of you. 

 SMM features a Yard Scrap and Vehicle Tag Photo Capture capability option.  You are able to take a picture from your yard or scales and import it into the invoice.   The shown CRW Indoor/outdoor camera(s) can be positioned  with a wired or wireless adapter network connection.  Each camera uses an IP address to identify it to Scrap Metal Manager. 

 SMM features a Cash Drawer Operation capability option.  You are able to physically manage your cash disbursements and track the cash drawer balances.  Shown is the  POS-X XC16HD  Combined with the USB Interface   XC-USB , or a Star Printer like those listed above to drive the cash drawer you can turn your workstation and SMM into a fully functioning cash register.
